I'm upgrading to a new MacBook, rather than upgrading the hardware in mine. I currently run two businesses through my MacBook, and obviously have a lot of sensitive info on it like customer information, my information, and files.

What do I need to do prior to sale to make sure that the buyer (or a future buyer) won't be able to retrieve any of this information?

Is simply doing a full restore with my Snow Leopard disk enough?

Start up from your system disc that came with your computer (or the Snow Leopard disc), then go to Disc ultilty, Erase, and click Erase Disc.Reinstall the system software and you're good.

This and you may want to delete some of your most private folders using securely empty trash?
I did not know that Lee left the PRSI :)
