    Seems to have finally paid off. More people see Apple as a premium brand that is easily recognisable, but not always fully understood.

    Whether that's true or not is of course a different matter.

    People who have used one see it as a premium brand, but most people have no idea the difference between a PC and a Mac. I guess the main marketing tactic that has worked is the virus scare. Most usually recognize that.
