    New Provider

We are in the process of switching hosting providers and the new server is up and running, and DNS changes are in progress (if you are reading this, you are reading it on the new server). Things should be 100% up and running. If you notice any errors/discrepancies, please email webmaster@macrumors.com

    "Switch" Contest
A second MacRumors contest has been organized by users. MacRumors "Switch" Video Contest.

Does the new server give MRs the caperbility to handle MW traffic without the server becoming too busy? I hope so!

hmm, should I enter the Switch comp, not sure yet!

We should see some mild improvements, but the primary switch to new server was not to increase processing power.

I investigated a 2nd server, but that's on hold for the moment. We'll see how things settle out on the new server, but a 2nd server is a possibility is load continues to rise.

Well, after a couple of issues being pointed out above, and both being promptly fixed, I'll give it a go.

My bank balance is too low.

Now I'm just going to sit back and pray to see a note like "[admin: fixed]" some time soon :D
