I would find it convenient to set a default size to my Finder windows. There didn't appear to be any option of this in any Finder menu. After some online searching, I found methods involving setting the window to the size you want it to be, then holding Command and closing the window, then relaunching finder, or holding Command while setting its size, then closing it and relaunching, or holding command while doing both and relaunching. None of these worked. I eventually found more complicated measures involving removing Plist files from the Library, which, come to think of it, may not have even been related to resizing the finder windows at all. I'm completely lost on how to do this. I have to say this process is much more difficult than it should be. If there really is some "option" somewhere to set a default size, it is extremely well hidden, and if there isn't, there should be, as doing a procedure as simple as this should not require any meddling with button combinations or file types.
