I was wondering if there is a method to assign multiple IP addresses to a single network adapter in OS X. I want to be able to connect to separate computers on different IP ranges at the same time. I found a document describing how to do it for OS X Server, but I can't find anything on plain OS X.

    Thanks for your time,

    Yup. It is fairly easy.
    Network Preferences, Built-in Ethernet, New...
Select Built-in Ethernet, give it a name and an IP.
You have selected Built-in Ethernet twice, given it two names and two configurations.
