Setup hotmail in mac mail in 10.8.2

Hi guys

I have a hotmail account and have been using mbox mail in order make hotmail work in mac mail with imap like feature (syncing of messages being marked as read, deleted etc). Mbox mail stopped working for me in 10.8.

I read something about exchange being incorporated with 10.8.2 (exchange makes hotmail work with syncing features in the iPhones mail program). Is it possible now to setup hotmail in mac mail with similar features as on the iPhone?

From what I have read the Exchange settings only work on iOS and not OS X.

Strange, I just plugged in the live-adress a week ago in 10.8 mail and the mail can be sent and downloaded just fine.

I believe the OP was wanting to use Exchange/IMAP in OS X, and I don't believe that is supported at this point.
