i have my music on a mac and am succesfully sharing this music with itunes running on a PC (i.e. streaming to the PC from the Mac), using the built in sharing feature. i would like to be able to access all of the features of itunes on the PC though, i.e. coverflow view, changing tags/ratings. is there some workaround that i could use to do this?

Well, you could bypass the iTunes sharing and simply open iTunes on the second machine whilst holding ALT. It should then give you the option to open a new library which is when you navigate to the Mac's library via file sharing and open it from the PC. Don't do this if the library is being used by the Mac at the time though. If successful, this will effectively let you run the library directly from your PC. :)
