I am new to mac and have no idea what the different shortcut keys are or what the keyboard commands are to use the tiger features. Please list any that you know.

Here's some for Safari. There are a lot of double-ups with other apps though. The Keyboard Shortcuts section of the Keyboard & Mouse section of System Preferences has some stellar other ones.

You can also use Xkeys, a nifty program that allows you to assign different keys to open applications, files or folders when the key is pressed. The program does not need to open for the keys to work. I have F8 assigned to open iTunes. :)

Xkeys can be downloaded at: http://http://www.zarkonnen.com/projects/xkeys.php
