Hi,

I have an OS X Snow Leopard server that pulls users details/location of home directories through a Windows 2003 server domain. I have setup the workgroup manager so that when a user logs on, their home directory (which is what is stored on the file share on the Windows Server under their username) shows in the Dock. However, I can't seem to get it to go directly to the users home directory in the Finder sidebar, or on the Desktop. It just mounts the whole share and then the user has to go through it to find their folder.

Is there anyway to make it appear like it does in the Dock?

Thanks

Chris.

Yeh, I have that already set up through Workgroup manager, but I want their username in the finder sidebar to point to their home directory on the Windows Server (e.g. dc01/yeargroup/username)
