Kansas University in Lawrence, KS announced that the universities religious studies department will offer a new class next semester: “Special Topics in Religion: Intelligent Design, Creationism and other Religious Mythologies.”

“The KU faculty has had enough,” said Paul Mirecki, department chairman. “Creationism is mythology. Intelligent design is mythology. It’s not science. They try to make it sound like science. It clearly is not.”

This, despite the Kansas State Board of Education's best efforts to give so-called "Intelligent Design" equal footing with the theory of evolution in science classes.

    Way to go, KU! :D
