So I am selling my 3GS tomorrow because I got the 4, I just did a restore on the phone so it would delete all of the information on the phone, obviously the person who is buying it is going to want to make sure the phone works and everything which is cool, but right now its saying no sim card installed.

What do I need to do to make sure that when he puts his simcard into the phone it will work properly? My guess would be to put my old simcard in so it will activate it and then when he puts his sim in it will work??

I have some important phone numbers that I wouldnt want him to have access to I guess thats why I am hesitant putting my sim back in? Any help would be appreciated

Just stick your simcard in and plug it to itunes.
It will just activate it and then select setup as new.
None of your stuff will transfer and it will just be an empty iphone when you hand it in.
