    Hello-

I was wandering if the Sims 2 will work on the new intel iMac's?

I'm guessing Rosetta won't handle it too well. You may be better off waiting to see if Aspyr successfully convert it to universal binary or issue an intel version.

I don't know if it runs in Rosetta, but Aspyr said that The Sims 2 will be the first game they port as a Universal Binary because it's their top seller.

Yes it runs. It is a bit laggy during some screen scrolls and it takes a bit of time to do some of the disk loads but it does run. I haven't loaded it on my mini yet for comparison purposes, but I can say it is a bit slower than a 2Ghz PC version.

Games A few readers have reported that the Sims 2 outputs no sound when run under Rosetta.

Other games' status are as follows:

    Doom3 - Works in 640X480 and 800X600 Slightly jerky
    Homeworld 2 - Works
    Nanosaur 2 - Works
Warcraft III Reign of Chaos - Works
Warcraft III - Frozen Throne - Works
