Sim's 3 problems

I got sims 3 for my mac book and when i start the game it tells me to put in my SN number so i do that and then it tells me to put it in, (its looping) thats all the game does and i have the cd with me and the code there is nothing wrong on the back of the disk and also i have reinstalled sims,

My computer meats the specs Including graphics card, also im running in OSX

should i install windows? and try it there?

Also I renterd it and it says that "the licnse limit for this product has been reached"
This is the only computer installed it on

I got it to work I was reading the code wrong XD
