    Observe, and I will recreate a Macrumors politics thread. You'll think that you're actually in one:

    Bush Sucks
    Haha, you're right. Bush does suck
    Gore would be great in office
    Gore sucks
    No Bush sucks
    The UN sucks
    They all suck
    You suck
    Bush sucks
    Haha, that's a good one. Bush does suck
    Clinton sucks too
    Florida, pregnant chads!
    Liberals suck
    Americans are dumb
    Your country is dumb
    Conservatives suck
    You suck
    <Thread Closed>

    Please note that this is a joke and is making fun of all parties involved.

    wow, i feel like the opinionated extremists are all around me, excellent simulation, durandal. It's like the real thing only i dont have to read the oral excrement that passes for arguments. i think all threads over 8 pages should be given the same treatment.

    That should have been written as an Apple Script, that way you wouldn't even have to bother reading the Political threads...

    And anyway I thought they solved the voting issue in Florida - but I still have faith that they'll get it wrong no matter how much they spend.

    Then of course we get down to the issues:

    <New Thread>
    As I was saying: You're all wrong..... except the Hawk Zealots.
    No, You're just a Hawk Zealot.
    Commie!!! (insert statement of propoganda over historical fact)
    (insert historical correction and psychological critique)
    (insert 10 posts in support of history and critique)

    Loop as neccessary.:D ;)

    Sometimes there's a bug in the loop leading to a post from the Zealot camp to the effect of either :

    Augh! Shaddap yer making me question my pre-conceptions!

    or

    Ouch. I have a nosebleed from thinking but I'm beginning to see it your way. Anybody got any Vicodin?

    In debated threads, especially when there is more than two sides to the arguement, the cyclic nature of the posts work, but not all long threads have circular themes. The problem stems from the fact that not many, if any member is going to read what was written 2-3 pages ago.

    I remember wanting to pull my hair out a few times with that damned Travis thread....more topics were discussed there at the time, than any other thread.

    Love the Florida Voting pic, here's what the voters will see after the design goes through committee...
