.sit?

    the application im downloading is a sit and my computer asks what program to open it with?

    Another vote for The Unarchiver. StuffIt sucks, IMO.

    What still comes in .sit format? That's so old school...

    Lol, yea. I think the last time I saw it was on microsoft's site, either for there remote desktop of msn messenger... I think :confused:

    I still often come across .sit, worst still is .sit.hqx or .bz2

    I dont see the point of .bz2 because it never works, just have to rename it as .dmg iirc or something else and then it works.

    I personally hate stuffit or any program that uses Aladdin stuffit installer or whatever it is called.
