wonder what at&t thinks of this.... higher loads on 3g (if allowed for skype), less use of minutes.

I already use Skype on the iPhone via Fring, but I would be more than welcome to an official app. Voice-quality/delay is the biggest issue, which I'm quite sure Skype will get right if they develop it in-house.

Fring will never connect voice to my Skype account (even when connected to Wi-Fi).

    iPhone, iPod Touch & Skype

I'm a big Skype user. I've thought about getting an ip-Touch and connecting to Skype with Fring or Truphone. But as far, the biggest unknowns or issues I have with this are A) Skype native support (not a fan of the Fring, Truphone, etc work around); and B) Wanting to use a bluetooth headset.

Any real suggestions for a Bluetooth headset with an iPod Touch?

If Skype writes a native app, then Gizmo5 might, and then others might and then we might see another iPod revolution.

Interesting reading the article that not only is there Windows and Apple app coming, but also they're pushing more video and quality via Skype...

Ok, can't resist: Would Apple allow video on iPhone SKype app, if they got 2 way video on G3 iPhone ? Or even 1 way? After all, at the release of iPhone 3G, some of the carriers had the faciliities to do 1way video, 2 way audio...
