My green 8Gb nano has found its way off the FedEx truck from Apple into my kitchen! It's out there charging in a dock while I figure what to name it and what to put on it. It's so elegant, and thin as a pancake. Scallion pancakes.. GreenOnions!

It's adorable. Incredible. Less than two ounces! 8 billion bytes!

First time I heard any recorded music, it came from either a 78rpm record player or else a radio, both stuffed into one of those big ol' consoles the size of a goat cage. And I learned to read before I ever laid eyes on a television set.

So, to me it's still way beyond stunning that I can press a button on a thing the size of a graham cracker and hear a symphony orchestra or watch "moving pictures" or listen to someone read me a book.

But I'll get over the shock. In about five more minutes!
