Apps Slideshow with shared photos only displays first 5 or 6 photos

I'm using the ATV 4 photos app, trying to display a slideshow of shared photos. I cannot figure out why ATV 4 only displays a few of the first photos (first 5 or 6 or so) and then quits.

Does anyone else experience this?

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated!
