Slow Macbook pro

    my macbook pro is running very very very slowly, should i upgrade my ram or what please help.

    Running a torrent app, virus app, or do you have and all-in-one printer?

    How long has the machine been on?

    Still sluggish after a restart.

    Edit: Run update_prebinding and repair permissions, if it happened after an Software update.

    I was having a similar problem. It turns out some system files were corrupted. Try an archive & install from the OS disk. Should be fine after that.
