    I bet he is laughing on the other side of his face now. (albeit the iPhone strategy has changed a lot since then)

    I thought the other numbers had RIM sales down or stagnant? Was that global vs. this being NA only? RIM just ... yesterday (?) significantly cut their earnings forecast.

    It's not really that ironic when you think about it. Steve Jobs created a product that appeals to the current market user of the device. The competitions product appeals to those interested in the software and price used. It's a no brainer to see who was going to come out ahead.
