I remember for the past Apple Events, there have been SMS (text message) alerts that are sent whenever a new product is announced. Will that be available for this MacWorld? Also, will MacRumorsLive automatically update on iPhone's browser? Thanks.

    Thanks.
This is probably a stupid question and I guess the answer is no, but will MacRumorsLive for the iPhone drain the battery if its, say, 2 hours long?

Are SMS an option for those of us DownUnder?
And if so, where do we set this up?

    2 ways to do this:

The Free but a bit complicated method:
Go to Twitter.com, sign up, activate a phone or IM, search for MacRumors, click follow, and Viola!

    The Paid but easy method:
SMS "Follow Macrumors" to +447624801423 (text 40404 in the US). Follow the texts you recieve back, this will involve picking a username, etc.
