    Hi everyone,
My name is Alex and I am one of those people who stand behind creating of Outline 2.0 - a note-taking app that can sync and edit your OneNote files on iPad.

The release is planned for June (hopefully!) and I invite those of you who use OneNote every day to take part in our beta testing. Free app and our love in return of your thoughtful feedback and comments! Please sign up for beta-testing at www.outline.ws/subscribe (there is a form when you click Betatesters).

Since every startup is now supposed to have a video, we have made one too. You can check how the new Outline will look like: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=apXEOw7xl6U

I'd be very happy to answer any of your questions and help you with setting up syncing of your notes between different devices.

Any plans to make a desktop version? This would be helpful as I go back and forth between my iPad and my MacBook Pro. Just wanted to check as this is a critical feature for me but I know many developers are only focused on the iPad version of note taking apps. Thanks and good luck with the launch.

Thanks! A Mac version is actually our priority #2 (after the iPad app). Hard to predict when it becomes available as we are focused on the Outline launch now but we will try to make it this summer.

Thanks for the quick response. I like the look of the UI especially how the Notebooks are represented. I will keep an eye out for the Mac version and will try the tool when that is complete.

I'll tell our designer that you like the UI, she'll be delighted - especially since it's her birthday today :)

This sounds like great news especially if there is an app for the Mac. I love onenote and I use it a lot for work stuff since we are mainly a Windows Shop. Just watched the video and this would so make my day if this came to the iPad and Mac!!!!!

    Can't wait!!!!!!

Also signed up for your beta test also.

can you load PDFs into the notes that are attached to an email?

You can't do that in the upcoming version but importing PDFs into Outline (for annotating or just keeping them there) will appear in the future.

Right now all OneNote files on iPad are associated with Outline, so if someone sends you a OneNote notebook attached to an email, you can open it with Outline.

Great, I'll be in touch with you when the beta is ready!

I thought I should provide an update to you guys. It's hot time, and I think we have the best beta-testers ever: thanks to all the activity we have fixed most of critical and repeating issues. The forthcoming week should be the last week of testing and cleaning up and we'll send the app to AppStore.

    Skydrive???

I've already purchased Outline+, all legit, thinking I'll be able to use it as an iPad client of Onenote. However the lack of Skydrive clearly makes it impossible since I essentialy lose the web access of my notes.
So please add Skydrive support ASAP, Thanks

Thank you! We are currently implementing Skydrive, hoping to release it early 2013.
