Would this be for a new one or an older model?

I'm not sure if you would be able to get a spare one from the place that you purchased it from, if you got it from Apple directly then there should be something on the support website to help you

If you need to reinstall your OS, and you don't have Tiger (which wouldn't have come on it unless you bought it somewhat recently), it would be better to buy Tiger and just use that to reinstall your OS or run Disk Utility or something.

If you really want the disks, you can get them on ebay.*

*itasor does not recommend this method as people might say it's illegal, just a heads up!
