Some issues with Mail

    I'm thinking of switching Entourage because Mail is drivin me nuts!

    The problem: I have a POP account, but whenever I delete items, they don't save, and when I send they don't go to the "sent" folder even though I have set the preference to do this. Also I can only send to people in my own school with an @buffalo.edu address.

    This might not be a Mail problem, but I need to fix it.

    Sounds like settings on the school side. Don't know if you could change them, though. I had similar issues with my Gmail account til I got it set properly on Gmail. And it still has some weirdness show up in Mail if I ever access it from the web.

    Yeah, it sounds like your SMTP settings from the school are limited. If available, try using your ISP's own SMTP settings. If they have email providing abilities, I imagine their settings will be on their site. :)
