Simple question, im looking for a 15" iMac G4 just to play around, speed is not important, but I do want widescreen. I have looked at a few on ebay, and most appear to be 4:3, but some look like they are widescreen. Am I just seeing things? If anyone knows, and what models / editions were widescreen, I would prefer that over 4:3.

    Thanks!

    17" and 20" are widescreen.

fyi, even though these are widescreen many commerical DVDs still appear with black bars at the top and bottom. It has to do with how the film was shot, either in 1.78:1, 1.85:1 or 2.35:1. The 1.78:1 matches HDTV and should fit a widescreen iMac. The others may not...

IMO, the 17" G4 iMac is well worth the premium over the 15". the res is very low on the 15's (1024x768, I think), we have some at work, and they really spoil your productivity relative to 1440x900. In my opinion, of course :)

The 17/20's are all atleast 1Ghz, I think. And think about putting in 1GB RAM (2x512) - it is worth it, and relatively cheap.
