Has anyone else noticed that their music has been skipping alot since upgrading to the latest version? It's happening to me a lot, even when I am doing low intensive stuff, like just browsing with iTunes in the background. It happens at random spots with random songs, and the skipps dont show up when music is burned to a CD. God it's getting annoying, are there anyways to stop this?

I haven't noticed that problem (yet!) but now that I'm on 6.0.4 it takes forever to burn CDs. The "checking playlist" stage takes 8-10 times longer than it used to when I'm trying to burn a simple audio CD. All my settings are the same as with previous versions of iTunes but it's taking much, much longer.

Maybe keep Activity Monitor open for a while, make it show you All Processes (not just My Processes), sort by CPU Usage and see if there are any correlating spikes accompanying your skips. :)
