Sound Quality of MacBook's

Hi,

I have read many reviews here on the MacBooks but wanted one specific detail - how is the sound quality of these MacBooks ; I was not really happy with 14" iBook G4 and I find the MBP is really good with iTunes and iDVD.

How do MacBooks fare - are they comparable with MBP's and better than the iBook.

Do you mean from the internal speakers? The sound isn't great, much worse than my iMac and my Dell D810. We had to turn the sound up fully to hear anything when watching some video. You would need external speakers for any kind of quality sound.

Sorry, I can't compare with the MBP or iBook - I currently have access to neither one.

That is exactly what I would do with my iBook - use earphones or ext speakers.
