Just curious, does anyone use the OSX speech feature? Where you speek commands to the computer. If yes, why? if no, why not?

    G4 for life!

It plainly doesn't recognise my Australian accent and it goes too slow for me. I don't use it.

The only thing - animate or inanimate - that can understand an Aussie is another Aussie :D

Back on topic... I used it as a novelty for a while, but had to repeat myself so many times and talk like an utter flibberjib that I packed it in.

From my own private collection, the giant gallah at Kimba (I was there two days ago):

For what it's worth, even Apple's inbuilt dictionary doesn't recognise gallah, let alone the speech database.
