I nominate Steve Jobs for president in 2008. If he can turn around a company, maybe he can do the nation a good makeover.

    JOBS 4 PREZ 08! :D

I think Steve is too much of a perfectionist to run the country, nothing would ever get done.

I'd rather vote for Al Gore again. He is the best president who never was.

"again", meaning if I actually could vote in the US election, which I can't because I'm not an america.

Al Gore has a new documentary. Does that help his chances?

Correct. Like many businessmen, he knows what he wants and he expects it to get done just because he says so... in other words, he's not used to having to negotiate or compromise. Most really good businessmen would make really BAD politicians.

That's what we need; bad politicians are good for the country because they are honest at least.

I've thought about it. There are some good and bad things about it, but generally I think it'd be a good idea overall. Stuff would get done, efficiently and well. Lots of secrets, but nothing to really worry about. More stuff to be excited about, except of course when people are disappointed the rumors aren't as good as the actual results, but at least we wouldn't be afraid of what's being hidden from us. He's a bit bullheaded, but seems to be in all the good ways. He actually can bend a little when necessary, believe it or not.

Be better than the last couple of jokers, but that ain't saying much.

As opposed to what it's been for the last six years, which is just insane.

The CIA would love to have someone like Steve as President.
China would also. I can imagine more Libertys and Freedoms lost under this guy, he would make King George look like a saint which he clearly isnt.

Efficiently maybe. Even that's questionable. But well? No.

this bit made me laugh, when Kucinich confirmed to a reporter that he was indeed going to run:
