That bottom shot with his face reflected in the screen looks pretty cool.

    It's not a reflection.

All MacBook Airs come with this built in screensaver of Job's face.

That bottom shot examplifies perfectly why glossy screens sucks for anything except getting extra-satured colours when watching movies. That's one helluva expensive DVD-player. Oh, wait …

Can someone please tell me the dfference between the base model air and the other one? from wot i can see its just got 1.8 and ssd. Usually the next model up has something 'unique' but the base model can have an ssd added to it. is there a feature i've miss thats unique to the more exp air?

Nope, that's it... The SSD is a $999 upgrade for the "base" model. The processor upgrade is another $299. Add it up and you've got a whopping $3,100 and the inability to pop in / exchange another battery.

    Bitch, bitch, bitch.

You realize a removable battery would have made the machine thicker, right? Just like the iPhone. The whole point of this thing is that it is thin, thinner than any other manufacturer is capable of creating. If you don't think that is worth the extra money, then you don't appreciate or understand it, and this isn't the product for you. Just get a MacBook.

SSD is an expensive option because SSD is very expensive. It is nice to be given that option.

Yeah, but he still looks good... I think he should just shave his head, though, and get it over with...:D
