I'm scratching my head over two things:

    1) Settings Application Schema Reference mentions an IsSecure key which can be used for password entry fields to indicate that typed text should be replaced with bullet characters. However, there seems to be no way to have this information stored in any kind of secure fashion. Surely Apple is not suggesting that storing passwords as plain text is acceptable?

    2) The Keychain Services Reference document for iPhone OS seems to show a different, and vastly smaller, API than that available in Mac OS X. Does anyone know what's going on there? Can anyone point me towards an Objective-C wrapper for Keychain which is compatible with iPhone OS?

    Thanks.
