Stupid apple ipad case shipping 3-4 weeks

I'd order it now and get yourself in the system. If you find it sooner you could cancel your order or just return it.

If it makes you feel any better my wait for my Vaja case is 30-40s and it's costs 5 times as much as the apple one. Just imagine how my wait is going

The title of your thread is really "stupid". How is it Apple's fault that the cases are backordered? This would dictate that they are selling well and you have to get in line like the rest of us. If you are in or near Vegas, the Apple shop in the Forum gets cases daily. Only 5 or 10 but they get them. I got lucky, after being late and having them sold out before I got there, to meet the biz manager that made some calls and found me a case and camera connector kit. The thing to do is to go to your Apple store, if one is near, and see what their delivery schedule is and try to adjust to it.

My local apple store told me that they get daily shipments of iPad cases.

Find out what time they are usually delivered, and go to your local apple store around the time!

I'd go with a different case - the Apple case isn't great imho.

I agree the Apple case is stupid... and overpriced. Take a look on eBay for the Yoobao case. Same functionality as the Apple case, but leather, a tad less expensive, and better made, or at least better material. No ginormous Apple logo is a bonus.

There are lots of other great cases too. I do not know why the Apple case continues to be popular except maybe people are too lazy to research alternatives.
