I am outraged that you consider "Boogie in your Butt" by Eddie Murphy to be a stupid song. ;)

Seriously, any Eddie Murphy song - with the possible exception of " Livin' La Vida Loca" on the Shrek 2 soundtrack ;) - needs to be on this list... except that none of them were "big hits".

Does this take into account political events? If so then I say anything by Michael Jackson.

Otherwise, I'll say anything by Flaming Lips.

ahahahha, I remeber that song..... oh boy, I didn't think it was the worst song, but the kids at my school used to play it so much I started to hate it. I never like Hanson anyways.

Ahhh the memories, what was I in? 3rd grade?

What so now in the 7th grade you're more refined now? ;)

I don't have songs, I have lists of artists though...

oh wait, one song that should be burned from history like a genital wart: Celine Dion with My Heart Will Go On.

'artist' wise (and I use that term loosley)

    Christina hadnohaira
    Brittney 'the slut' spears

Actually the above two seem to be competing for 'how low can you go'. There should be a pool onto who hits Playboy and who gets Penthouse

Jessica 'the brain' simpson. I'd bet money she's a marketing genius
new kids on the block, and their alter egos n'sync, 98, back street boys, any band with 'the jock, the rebel, the cute boy, the baby' type mold
Anyone related to a late 90/early 00 teeny bopper trying to glom onto the fame of the sibling
Any american idol winner, or loser as the case may be.

I just wanted to say goodbye to this thread. I will not be returning to it. Every time I come back, another god-awful forgotten-for-decades song is hammered back into my brain. it's horrible torture, so I must go. Best of luck to the rest of you.... ;)

"Do re mi" from the Sound of Music.... ["Doe, a deer, a female deer; ray, a drop of golden sun; me, a name I call myself,...."]

Cher is a musical genius compared to some of these clowns :D...

    - "Agadoo", Black Lace

    sample lyrics:

Agadoo-doo-doo, push pineapple, shake the tree,
    Agadoo-doo-doo, push pineapple, grind coffee

    - "Achy Breaky Heart", Billy Ray Cyrus
    - "Hey Mickey", Tony Basil

    That was painful :p.

'Shaddup your face' by Joe Dolce

    UK/Aus/NZ will know this one...

There's bound to be an MP3 floating around somewhere.
    Truly horrible...

Here are also some other suggestions:

Anything like KRS One's song "Shutupayouface"?
Which isn't a bad song considering KRS One finally started to believe his own hype.

They borrowed a few lines, but not much. If you heard the original, you'd probably recognize it; I don't think anywhere escaped it.
