I'm looking on Ebay for a 'Pre-USB' mouse, you know, the one with all the pins, but I can't remember what the word for that is?

Anyone care to mock my stupidity and tell me the answer to this silly question?

    Thanks. :D

Is it Serial you're thinking of?

If not, feel free to mock my stupidity instead! :D

    Serial? I'm not sure...

I basically want to type 'mouse' into Ebay and get up all non-USB mouses.

    PS2? I'll try that...

This is a Mac forum, we didn't use the PS2 rodent -- they were ADB rodents.

    Like the ones here...

But you might find somebody on here willing to part with one.

You're right with the ADB – my mistake regarding Serial, which was used for printers, modems and the like. There's an explanation of it all here.

Sigh... it all seems like such a long time ago... ;)
