I dont know if you guys get enough votes in the positive/negatives on the front page to actually warrant something like this, i just think it would be cool and possibly less strain on the macrumors servers if some sort of Web 2.0 voting button was added so the page would automatically record your vote without having to reload the page.

Again, i dont know if there is actually enough strain on the servers/activity to warrant some actual work on this, i just think it would be cool :)

If you notice, even reloading the page doesn't register your vote. All votes are recorded, but the tallies are only updated every few minutes. I know it saves on server load to do it this way, but I can't imagine it would add much to have a live-updating system. Of course, I'm not the guy would have to implement it. ;)
