Hey all, 1st time poster, long time lurker.

I'm soooooo torn on which case to get for my iPad 2. I have a ton on my "maybe" list but can't decide. Currently I have a black leather Smart Cover and was hoping to find a quality case that is compatible and retains the slimness while protecting the iPad. I also really loved the original Apple case and am trying to find something very similar & would probably sell my Smart Cover if I found the right one.

After scouring the web and reviews, here are the ones on my list:

    Marware Microshell

    Marware Microshell Folio Slim

    Incipio Feather

    Gumdrop Surf Convertible

    Incase Magazine Jacket

    Bear Motion 3-in-1

    eBay Generic

    eBay Generic

Those last 2 on eBay are direct from Hong Kong & look like carbon copies of the original case. Now, they look awesome in pictures and the write up states they have magnetized covers that work just like the Smart Cover. But, I'm extremely wary on spending anymore than $15 on a case from Hong Kong that I have not seen or read about. I'd love for them to be nice but I can't take the risk. I wish another company would make one exactly like those 2 eBay ones.

    Any thoughts?

Maybe this thread will help others find a case they like.

If you look at the pictures from the two Ebay cases (last two), the holes are not well aligned.

Good point, I actually shot off emails to both sellers and asked them how the holes align, I think one of them had a pic with the iPad in the case the other didn't. I'm thinking it's not worth the risk to try either of them, better to read hands-on reviews. Another thing was that on the 1st eBay case link they have a little stop motion vid that shows the case and it doesn't spin all the way around, maybe to mask that the holes are badly cut.

This forum has been great for helping me whittle this down.
