As a warning and precaution , this topic has been brought up a lot - Nintendo states that ROM's are illegal no matter what circumstances essentially. Emulators, I'm not sure what it specified - can't remember. So be sure to moderate this thread a bit, otherwise it will be trashed.

Just as a warning - not that there is anything really illegal here.

But I have all the actual games I want to download. My NES has been broken for years. If I bought the game I should be able to get a copy of it on my computer.

If you own the games, you have to make the ROM file yourself for it to be legal.

Try Versiontracker, they have a few I think.

Good luck finding ROMs - I'm guessing by now most of the sites that had them have been given cease & desist letters by Nintendo. You'll be able to get [most of] them legally for the Wii soon anyhow.

That's true. The Wii, I wonder if they'll offer the BS games as well. That'd be cool.

I'd also suggest ZSNES, an emulator made in mostly x86 assembly.

It's nice to know that the Intel Mac gets emulator support. I thought some of these were dead. :D
