Superdrive clunking / vibration

I got a black macbook last night, and then I insert a disc into the superdrive, there is a seris of clunking noises. Its quite disconcerting.

Also, when the CD spins up to speed, there is a very noticeable vibration at around hmmmm, 50 Hz or something.

Other then the clunking and vibration, it appears to be working fine.

Is this normal?

my macbook pro does this too... I'm afraid it is normal, sadly..

Sadly yes, but I am also happy to know that its not messed up and requires a trip back to the shop and a great deal of hassle etc etc.
