SuperDuper vs. TimeMachine

    if timemachine isn't bootable, then what's the entire point?

    with superduper you can clone the entire drive and it's a perfect duplicate.

    ???

    Superduper doesn't give you a 'history' of your files that you can scroll back through.

    Even though the Time Machine backups aren't bootable, with a Leopard Install disc they can be restored completely to the drive.

    Right now SuperDuper is crap because it doesn't work right under Leopard.... so until they fix it it's useless... I wasted a few hours finding that out.:mad:

    Carbon Copy Cloner works.

    Time Machine is file recovery. CCC/SD! are bootable backups. We need both (for now).
