I swear, all the cute little cars on the market appear to stare and smile at me.

Update: Just checked the link, and both the LC and "Mom's Personal Wagon" are smiling at me (especially Mom's Wagon), while the Ionis concept is frowning at me.

I think that Japanese rear-view mirror location spoils the looks of any car.

What, iGAV, not a haridresser's car this time? ;)

    Still, I like the look.

Nice seats. Do those come in flower prints as well, or just the plaid?

    Cute car.

And it's small enough that when you get creamed by a semi, they can just dig a hole in the ground and drop the car, with you still inside, into the hole! ;)

a hairdresser wouldn't be caught dead in one, and that goes a long, long way to making it cool ;) :D

I like the plaid. The bit of pink at the sides gives it a hint of personality. Floral prints would mean a lot more pink/colour.

And that Nissan is an ugly little thing, isn't it. It's so bubbly.....kinda reminds me of what I thought of the Toyota Echo when it first came out. :p

Reminds me of the Nissan Figaro, I like it though. It is functional, and noticeable, without being ostentatious.

Will it take the 2CV market? I've seen a few small cars but none so quirky as the 2CV.

    OH.

    MY.

    GAH!

So j'adorable. Ugh, I love concept cars.

I'm reminded of the Ford that was named after a Pantone color, the 021C. Here's a link.

    And a pic:

Obviously, it never came out because people suck. I'll just go buy a used Mini Cooper. :p

Yeah, Marc Newson did a sweet job on that... love the light bars front and back, has that Dodge Charger look about it from the front.

I'm always surprised by the flack Ford gets on these boards, they're one of the few mainstream companies that value and take risks with design.

Wasn't it a great car? I STILL want one, years later. I mean.. a trunk that is a slide-out DRAWER? I pooped my pants. That was so awesome. I loved the key lime colour, too. That was around the iBook toilet seat years, coincidentally.

Marc is definitely a hottie. I love me some industrial designer mojo. Ives, Karim Rashid, Marc Newson. Mm.. designers.

I adore Ford's concepts, personally, and hold no ill will toward them. I'm just glad the Taurus years are over.

    Nissan Pivo

Damn, I was going to link to the Pivo too. As an egg concept it's great. Just imagine being able to drive forward into a park and the be able to rotate the egg portion a full 180, and drive out of the park. Look Ma, no reverse gear. I'd drive one, but everyone knows how eccentric I can be.
