I installed my Apple TV yesterday. Long story short, 36 hours later, I still only have about 2 GB of my 40 GB hard drive with any content on it. I have an iPhoto library of about 3,500 pictures (I'm guessing about 10 GB) that will not complete a sync. It keeps stopping and starting. But, bottom line is it is running very slowly and never gets all my folders over there. I called Apple Care and they had me reset to factory settings. I did that about five hours ago and still only have 2 GB synced over (photos only). My network is a Linksys Router 802.11n. It works just fine with my MacBook. So, I don't think the network is the problem. When I look at iTunes, it tells me I won't be able to sync all my music (I knew that when I bought the 40 GB Apple TV, but I thought it would cache and just grab music off the iMac when it needed it. When I try to play music from my iTunes library through the Apple TV it sounds like it's skipping and the timing is off. I guess that's probably because it's still trying to sync photos. But, I'm losing patience after a day and a half of trying to figure this thing out. Any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated.
