Hi, I'm posting on behalf of my manager who's just bought an iPad.

She's connected it to her Laptop at home, via iTunes, and now the memory's full on the iPad - over 1000 of songs.

She's not very good with technology, so please can someone explain the process she needs to carry out the remove all off these songs from the iPad to free up the space?

    Thanks,
    Pia

She needs to plug her iPad in to the laptop and open iTunes. Once iTunes has recognized the iPad, she'll need to click on her iPad in the top right corner of iTunes. Once she is viewing the iPad, click on the 'Music' tab and uncheck 'Entire music library' and check 'Selected playlists, artists, albums, and genres'. This will allow her to uncheck any music she doesn't want on there while still keeping what she may want on there.

If she doesn't want any music on the iPad, she'll just need to uncheck 'Sync Music' which will remove all of the music.

She can also remove all songs from the device without plugging into iTunes.

Just go to Settings>General>Usage>Storage>Music. There she'll be able to delete all of the music. The problem with doing it here is it's all or nothing.

There is also the option to fill the remaining space with music. Make sure that that is not checked.
