I was wondering if there was an app or something of the likes that would allow me to synchronize 2 iTunes library's. I have an emac that I do most of my playlist and music management on as well as a Powerbook that I would like to keep up to date on my new music, playlists, etc. Any help anyone can give is much appreciated.

This question has been asked a few times and no one's really figured it out yet.

I see you have an iPod. This is my solution for the problem
    (NOT very efficient ):
    1. Update your iPod on your primary playlist creating computer.
    2. On your secondary computer, download a program that pulls songs off the iPod.
    3. Run this program on your secondary computer
    4. Depending on which iPod audio grabber program you use, you may have to fiddle around with iTunes to make the libraries exactly the same.

This solution is not efficient at all but it gets the job done.

    a new question...

Slightly different question, but is there any way of seeing if songs are repeated in your library, without physically going through every song name? 35 Gbs of music is a lot to sift through.

From the built-in help of iTunes:

If this doesn't work for you, please explain more about what you need. For instance, if song X appears on two albums by an artist, it will appear through this method. But if song names are misspelled or differently spelled, they won't get caught.

P.S. -- since this question is almost totally unrelated... please don't threadjack in situations like this until after the original poster has resolved his / her problem.

You might get more of a response by posting in the iPod/iTunes forum. Good Luck!
