I use a G3, so I don't know if iSyncing my Calender and Addy Book to my iPod is as SLOW as anyone else that uses iSync. And normally, when I iSync with my iPod, I always get messages that I'm going to add things to my Computer (how'd I go and input events through my iPod?!?). But that's not the situation.

Today, I didn't feel like I had time to wait the half and hour plus it takes to iSync my data to my iPod, so I went through my iPod's home directory, and deleted the .ics (iCal) files and just copy pasted the .ics files that were in my Computer's Application Library.

Calender's work fine, and for once, it was synched. Question is, do I lose anything by doing this method (copy paste actual .ics rather than going through iSync)? It was so much more faster and easier than running iSync, so can I continue doing this method instead?
