I just realized that I typed "tabbed browsing" in the title. I should have said "tabbed windows".

I've been using Chax for about a week or so and I really like it. For me, it has some extra features that are nice, others that I don't pay attention to at all. Unlike some app plug-ins, it doesn't get in my way and the tabbed browsing is pretty great. I know I sound like an advertiser, but if you use iChat and have ever filled up your screen with chat windows, you should look into Chax.

I used to use gaim all the time on my pc before I got my mac. I was in love with tabbed windows, and was dissapointed to find out that ichat did not have this feature, but kept using ichat since it's all macish and all.

Not sure how I'm going to get used to tabbed windows again, but I think I'll manage... ;)

Eh, I have tried it. Nothing Adium can't do for me. I'll stick with Adium.

Tabbing windows and auto accept of new text messages was the only thing that made me switch from iChat to adium, now I can go back and have video chat again.
