Hit pause, then Apple-Shift-4. You will be able to select the image you want to capture.

Cheers.

that doesn't work, that's why you need to get the downloaded software. the screen capture is disabled when DVDs are playing.

Now, anyone know how to get video/audio from the DVD?

Though I haven't yet tried it, you could try playing your DVD with the program VLC (instead of Apple's DVD player) and then do a screen shot (either command-shift-3 or command-shift-4).
You can get VLC from versiontracker. It's also VERY good for playing .avi files. :)
