    HELLO EVERYBODY!
this is my first thread and I am very happy to post it here :)
I am trying to put my quicksilver 867 MHz in target disk mode in order to transfer some datas from another computer...
what I do is to shut down the computer, hold down the "T" button while the classic MAC Os sound starts,but...
when I do this the ocmputer (after few seconds...) shuts itself down...
i already repaired disk permission and reset the PRAM...
    any other suggestions?
    BTW: I am running 10.3.9..
    many thanks!

Is the other computer a Mac? There are a few articles by Apple you may be interested in.

How to use Target Disk mode.

Mac not entering Target Disk mode.

And probably the most relevant one:
Mac shutting down at start up in Target Disk mode.

I'm not going to lie, I only skimmed the links mad jew posted so this may be covered and I missed it. Go to System Preferences, then go to Startup Disk. Click Target Disk Mode, then hit Restart. You don't have to hold "T" that way.
