Before I click, is this the evil Flashdance ripoff?

[edit: It is *shudder*. I think this sample was taken from the video floating around the net of the 1984 Mac intro.]

There's now a higher quality version uploaded.
unfortunately, it's just a higher quality RECORDING, not a higher quality song.

Point is, that was Apple's corporate anthem. If it makes enthusiasts want to buy Dell, what does it do to the poor Apple employees? And if there are any current or past employees out there with access to other Apple theme songs from the years, please do share :D

PS how do you make a word a clickable link in the updated posting system for MR.

It used to be click the link button, add url then add word. I don't get that option anymore...

Got me for a while as well. :)

Type the word you want to be the link first, highlight it & then hit the link button to insert the URL.

ps Where is your avatar from - it looks familiar.

You need to scroll down to the bottom, click the "free" button, wait the 20 or so seconds while the thing that says "download ticket reserved, wait x seconds" counts down, then click on the link.

It is the original graphic from the early versions of the game.

    It was the Sharewaredemon.

    Ahhh!

    My eyes! My ears!

All collective memories of the 80's should be wiped. I won't miss a thing...

No worries. Bizarre thing though - my tip worked fine for me at work on IE6 on my Windows machine, but not here at home on my Mac. Weird

I haven't played Exile, but I am working my way through the Avernum games - just completed the first, and starting on the second. Gotta love the retro graphics.

Well, Avernum is basically the same game as Exile, but with updated UI. So you basically get the gist.

Quick work Stridey! Was about to edit my post to make the same point, but you beat me to it. :) Top games both.

Back on topic :)D), one of my friends works for a large accountancy firm, and they still use a corporate song to this day. Truly scary.
