Extra features no loss for iPods

Those extra features like voice recording and radio sound novel enough but there are more add-on peripherals for the iPod by third parties than for all the other MP3 players combined. If it is not on the iPod, chances are that there is a peripheral for it than can add the functionality.

Now that we are talking about colour screen iPods the possibilities for peripherals get even better. Imagine being able to add the iSight to the iPod for tape-less movie recording.

Rio and Creative could do worse than make iPod peripherals. Their players are simply not relevant to anyone except Microsoft.

And what about all the extras that the iPod HAS and others LACK?

(The most fun maybe: the music quiz that uses your own music.)

Yes... But NOT Mac OS X!! (preinstalled, at least...)
The "feature" I miss the most since I switched is M$ Solitaire, probably the best Windows app ever written. Ooooh those jumping cards :D

The iPod is a great device. The games it comes with, the software updates, the calendar and contacts functionality, and the music player aspect all combine to make it one of the best, if not THE best, in its class. (I need to use mine more...)

Parachutes is the best, and I never played it prior to my 3rd Gen iPod! :D
