    Dumb! But at least the Republican was heavily favored anyway. It's just such a stupid way for a campaign to end. :rolleyes:

    This is an example of why a party should have a 50-state strategy. In this case it makes little difference, since the GOP candidate sounds heavily favored anyway, but this kind of thing can happen anywhere at anytime with no notice. You field candidates in every race, and you get to capitalize on things like this if it were to go down differently -- say for instance the favored candidate was the one who was forced out of the race.

    Just in case anyone wants to call any of us partisan hacks, we should point them to this thread and the one about that guy who had 100 grand in his freezer. An ass is an ass. At least she's only guilty of beating up her husband and not taking bribes. :rolleyes:
